Shortenings

Hudson and Knight's range of bakery fats and oils are refined, bleached, deodorised, Halaal, 100% vegetable based and trans fat free.

The range contains three different kinds of shortenings :

• Planto is a general purpose shortening used for general baking.
• Vegcap is a general purpose shortening used in industrial and artisanal bakeries.
• Breadcap is a specialised shortening for use in industrial bakeries.
